You Can’t Believe All You Read In The Press

I was sitting outside in the garden last night, enjoying the sun whilst reading the local newspaper before I set off for a talk I thought I was doing. Then I saw this article in the What’s On Page of the newspaper.

Looked like they had arranged a replacement speaker, a Brian Anders, who is a double for Rod Stewart!! Never met the guys, Brian Anders or Rod Stewart!!

We had a good laugh when I finally arrived for my talk and showed the audience the article. Just a case of a typo error by the paper and a photo of Rod placed too close to the text.

Before my talk I gave them a chorus of Maggie May!
