Port Sunlight Looking Good

A beautiful bright and crisp February day, so I took a walk through Port Sunlight, the model village created by Lord Lever for his workers from the late C19th. The buildings were looking wonderful in the ‘sunlight’, particularly the Duke of York Cottages as in this shot. This photogenic group of dwellings was opened by the future King George VI when he was the Duke of York on 31st May 1934.
