Winchester Wanderings

Just back from a couple of days in Winchester, Hampshire, lecturing at the University. Had only a couple of hours to take some shots around the city centre bathed in winter sunshine. Winchester, once the capital of medieval England ruled by the legendary King Alfred. Beautiful place to live and work. Looking forward to returning to give more lectures in 2017 and see this stunning historic place in spring sunshine. Here are some shots from my short stroll through the city yesterday.
